iPASTAR at The Irish Gerontological Society’s 69th Annual and Scientific Meeting 2022
The iPASTAR team were delighted and proud to showcase its research at The Irish Gerontological Society’s 69th Annual and Scientific Meeting 2022. Two of our PhD Scholars participated in the event, held at Slieve Russell Hotel, Co. Cavan on 3 and 4 November 2022.
Geraldine O’Callaghan gave an oral presentation of findings from her systematic review and meta-analysis which explored the available evidence in relation to supports provided at transitions of care for stroke patients and their families and caregivers.
Deirdre McCartan presented findings from her work with the National Office of Clinical Audit (NOCA) during her National Placmement titled “Audit of an Audit: Understanding the Interpretation and reporting of Key Performance Variables of the Iirsh National Audit of Stroke (INAS)”. Her poster presentation outlined the variability in definitions used within the data variables collected through the INAS dataset, and her process in ‘auditing an audit’.
Both these abstracts have been successfully published in the Age and Ageing Journal.
