As part of UCDs events to highlight UN Women and Girls in Science Day 2022, Patricia noted “My advice to other women/girls considering a career in science is that it is creative, exciting and extremely satisfying and never too late to take on new challenges. If you want to make a difference to people’s lives, a career in science is one of the best ways to do this!”
